New animal feed company established in the Netherlands

Citura, part of animal nutrition firm Provimi Holding, has been established as of January 1, 2009, by merging two companies Bonimex and Proviad.

Based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Citura has two business units - feed ingredients and feed additives.

Citura will offer customers products under the brand names Provimax, Cinergy, Biacid and Amaferm.

The company also offers vitamins, minerals, amino acids medicated and non-medicated feed applications for pig, poultry and ruminant feed.

Citura plans to become a significant player on the global animal feed market.
