China pork prices jump anew in latest week
Pork price, a major item underlying consumer inflation in China, surged 1.98 percent during the week ending January 18 to RMB14.42 (US$1.99) per pound.
China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said the increase marked a significant acceleration from a 0.35-percent rise from the previous week.
NDRC disclosed the following price changes.
