Alltech China's facility gets ISO accreditation
Alltech China's manufacturing facility has been granted one of the Chinese feed industry's first ISO 22000 registrations.
Alltech China follows a quality control system based upon HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and this certification further embodies this, said an industry news site.
The ISO 22000 standard delivers a common global framework of safety requirements for all organisations in the food supply chain, including crop production, processing, distribution, and related operations. It is an international standard that harmonises various existing national and industry certification schemes.
Overall, ISO 22000 creates an effective framework for food safety management, communication along the food supply chain, and control of food safety hazards.
Considering the growing importance of food safety, Alltech has been working on maintaining strict product quality and security management standards, pointed out James Wang, Alltech China production manager.
