Vitamin A producers lower prices in China to stimulate buying

Prices continued to fall over the past few weeks.

Feed millers started to stock inventories of late, but at a cautious rate. With demand remaining slow, vitamin A producers cut prices in a bid to promote sales.

Transacted prices of locally produced vitamin A dipped to RMB107-110/kg while actual transacted prices were in the range of RMB106-109/kg.

Prices of vitamin A should stay around current levels due to improved pre-festive demand, even though supplies remain abundant.
