Japan's compound feed output up 2% in November

Total compound feed production in Japan rose 2.2% on-year in November to 2.067 million tonnes.

In October, total production of compound feed for animals rose 2% to 2.193 million tonnes, according to Ministry of Agriculture data on Wednesday (Jan 20).

Japan is the world's biggest importer of corn, the main ingredient of animal feed in Japan. The US is the main supplier of corn for feed use.
