Aviagen KFT restructures, appoints new regional business directors

Poultry breeding company, Aviagen will re-structure its KFT sales and technical service team into regional areas, headed by regional business directors responsible for respective regional sales and technical services and report directly to Balazs Takacs, Managing Director of Aviagen KFT.

Dr Boyko Dimitrov has been appointed regional business director responsible for Bulgaria, Croatia, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kirgizstan and Azerbaijan. Dr Boyko will be supported by Sava Yordanov, who will utilise his existing close relationships with all Ross customers in that region.
Robert Roszkopf has been appointed to lead Aviagen activities in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia. He will be supported by Csaba Suszter and Vlada Zima, who are both well-connected to the local needs of the region.
Balazs Takacs will, in his function as managing director of KFT, continue to lead the customer sales and technical service in Romania and the Balkan area.
Balazs said, "These changes will further shorten the communications lines within our operation to the benefit of our customers and I am looking forward to further strengthen the links with our agents and customers in these regions".
The change is made necessary due to growing market share of the Ross® and Arbor Acres® brands in 23 different countries that are supported by the Aviagen® KFT team.
The poultry breeding company develops pedigree lines for the production of broiler chickens under the Ross, Arbor Acres and Indian River brand names.
Based in Huntsville, Alabama, the United States, the company has a number of wholly-owned operations across the United Kingdom, Europe, Turkey, Brazil, India, Australia, New Zealand and the USA and joint ventures in Asia. It serves customers in 130 countries through its distribution network.
