Slack demand weighs on China methionine market
Prices of methionine were unchanged during the week ending January 19.
With prices of methionine surging over 20% since late October, buyers were cautious with procurements.
Liquid methionine* quotes in the general market stayed unchanged at RMB23-25/kg.
Slack demand for poultry feed will impede the sales of methionine in the coming period.
