Number of cattle in Ukraine shows decrease

The number of cattle in Ukraine on January 1 fell 3.2% on-year to 4.92 million.

According to the state statistics committee, the number of cows on the date was 2.76 million, 3.5% less than a year ago.

The number of pigs increased to 7.14 million, posting a 9.3% on-year increase. Poultry increased by 7.3% to 190.5 million, and the number of sheep and goats increased by 4.1% to 1.8 million.
