John Springate, Ph.D., President ofKemin Agrifoods, announces the promotion of Jeff Murphy to President of the North American division.
Murphy steps into this new role as Jed Harms, prior President of Kemin Agrifoods North America, accepts the leadership role for the Kemin Nutrisurance palatant business worldwide.
Since joining Kemin in 1998, Murphy has held a number of sales and marketing positions including Pork Business Unit Manager, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Commercial Director, and most recently Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Kemin, he spent 10 years in sales and sales management at Bioproducts Inc., ADM and Feed Specialties Company.
Murphy is an active member of the agriculture industry through involvement in the American Feed Industry Association, American Society of Animal Science, the Poultry Science Association and the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement.
Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science in animal science and a Master of Science in animal nutrition from Iowa State University.
