Vietnam's Minh Phu Seafood signs major freezer order

Minh Phu Seafood Joint Stock Company (MPC), a large Vietnam-based seafood processor has signed a US$6.1 million contract to receive freezing solutions supplies from JBT FoodTech.

JBT FoodTech will supply and integrate eight Advantec™ impingement freezers and four GYRoCOMPACT® spiral freezers for the new Hau Giang facility. MPC has been Vietnam's leading shrimp producer for the last ten years and this new plant will double the amount of shrimp they process for worldwide export.

The project is currently scheduled to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2010.
