Australian grains increase in Central NSW
Australia's Central New South Wales (NSW) obtained 2.6 million tonnes of grain, 100,000 tonnes more than the previous week, but it surpassed by South NSW and North West Victoria (both 2.7 million tonnes).
Queensland has received 1.3 million tonnes, North NSW 1.9 million and South East Victoria 1.3 million, making a grand total of 12.6 million tonnes.
Further rain has slowed harvest receivables, particularly in Victoria and southern NSW.
This will also affect the quality of grain received in future.
In Central NSW there has been a focus on out-loading grains from sites that are nearing capacity, or where segregations are filling.
Grain is being moved into country sub-terminals and to port for exporters.
Flooding to several GrainCorp sites in Queensland, NSW and Victoria has been minor.
Out-turn of grain for domestic and export customers will be affected by the flooding in north-west Victoria.
In Queensland, grain export operations continue in ex-Mackay and Gladstone and the Port of Brisbane have re-opened.
