India soy future falls after hitting new highs

 
 

Indian February soy futures fell after hitting new highs on early Monday trade on profit-taking after it rose 4.7 percent in last two sessions, analysts said.

 

February soy on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange was down 0.37 percent at Rp2,272 per 100 kilogrammes. The contract had earlier touched a high of Rp2,288.

 

Rapeseed future in February was almost flat at Rp513.15 per 20 kilogrammes.

 

Indian oilseed and edible oil markets track international prices as it imports a large part of its edible oil requirement.
