US sold 110,000 tonnes of corn to South Korea
The US Department of Agriculture announced Wednesday private export sales of 110,000 tonnes of US corn for delivery to South Korea in the 2005/06 marketing year. The corn marketing year begins Sep 1.
US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tonnes or more of corn made in the same day to the same destination by 3:00 p.m. EST (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tonnes must be reported on a weekly basis.
