Low output, stable export demand underpin China vitamin A prices
Prices were stable to marginally higher over the past few weeks.
The availability of vitamin A was tight as one local producer had limited stocks to offer. Export orders were stable whereas domestic demand slackened while livestock prices were weak due to high releases.
Prices in Europe increased to the range of EUR22.70-23.20/kg.
Low production and stable overseas demand will lend support to the vitamin A market but weak buying interest in the local market will prevent prices from moving up.
