US meat firm recalls 2,664 pounds of beef franks
Due to undeclared allergen and misbranding, Cloverdale Foods Co. in North Dakota has recalled 2,664 pounds of beef franks, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service reports.
The agency says the hot dogs were made with milk, which was not declared on the product label. Milk is a known allergen.
There have no reports of illness from the recalled products.
The items identified in the recall were "Seattle Mariners Beef Franks."' The products were produced on November 23 and December 13, 2013.
The beef franks can be identified by the establishment number "Est. 7603" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The products were sold to retailers in Montana, North Dakota and Washington.
