China vitamin C prices stay flat after December's slight rise

Aqua feed production dropped 60% during December as the climates turned colder, while hog feed output shrank by 1% due to high disease rates and increased releases. Prices of vitamin C stayed flat during early January after late December's slight rise.

As of January 15, offer prices for pharmaceutical-grade vitamin C were stable at RMB27/kg.

Prices are expected to stay around current levels amid flat demand.
