Nedap Agri enters North American market as it phases out gestation stalls
Dutch-based farm equipment manufacturer Nedap Agri is moving to tap the North American market for group housing as the region phases out gestation stalls.
The company this month set up a North American branch to market its Electronic Sow Feeding (ESF) to manage group housed sows.
The company will install and start-up its first installations in the first half of this year.
Nedap Agri has recently introduced a new system, Nedap Velos an automated pig feeding system that could also detect when a pig is in heat and automatically separates them.
More information about the system can be found at http://www.nedap-velos.com/?action=components
