Argentina November soy crush increase by 28 percent

Argentina's November soy crush totaled 3.4 million tonnes, up 28 percent from the 2.7 million tons crushed in November 2006, according to the Agriculture Secretariat.

Argentina produced 662,512 tons of soy oil in November, compared with the 507,544 tonnes produced during the same month a year earlier.

Soy pellet output in November totaled 2.647 million tons, up from the 2.094 million tons produced a year earlier.

The country produced a record 47.6 million tonnes of soy in 2006-07, up from 40.5 million tonnes a year earlier, according to the Agriculture Secretariat.
