Ukraine's 2012 agricultural production volume decreases

Compared with the same index in 2011, Ukraine registered the decline of the agricultural production volumes to the level of 95.5% in 2012.

According to the announcement of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, last year the specified index in the agricultural enterprises decreased to 93.5%, in households of the population - to 97.6% compared with the 2011 result.

Reduction of the production volumes in the plant growing industry of Ukraine in 2012 totalled 8.2%. In particular, the volume of plant growing production in the agricultural enterprises decreased by 11.8%, in households of the population - down 3.9%.
