Big Dutchman appoints Gong SpA as exclusive distributor in Italy

Big Dutchman appoints Gong SpA, based in the Northern Italian city of Ghedi, to oversee the consultation, distribution and service for Big Dutchman's pig equipment products in Italy.

This agreement was recently reached by Magnus Westerkamp, Managing Director, Big Dutchman Pig Equipment GmbH and Francesco Manenti, Managing Director, Gong SpA in the Big Dutchman head office in Vechta, Germany.

The Italian company, which is managed by its owner, will from now on distribute the whole product range of the German company, in addition to its own portfolio. Gong will also have a great amount of spare parts in stock.

The Italian market leader has been producing and distributing pig equipment for the last 20 years. Gong offers extensive services to perfectly support Big Dutchman customers in Italy: Delivery and assembly as well as comprehensive consulting and planning are part of Gong's scope of services. Gong will be concentrating especially on the after-sales service and supply customers with required spare parts.

Big Dutchman is the world's largest equipment supplier for modern pig production and poultry production. The range of products includes traditional and computer-controlled feeding equipment as well as climate control and exhaust air treatment.
