USDA: Philippines issues new regulations on meat exportation

 

 

The Philippine Department of Agriculture has issued new regulations on the accreditation of foreign meat establishments (FMEs) for exporting meat and meat products in the country.

 

The new guidelines, which took effect on January 7, would require all exporting countries or individual FMEs to obtain either systems or individual accreditation to be qualified to supply meat in the country.
