Gold Coast Marine Aquaculture to open new facility
The new Gold Coast Marine Aquaculture facility will open Friday, January 15, 2010.
Producers of the multi-award winning black tiger shrimp, the Gold Coast Marine Aquaculture business had spent the past 20 years making the project into a reality. Completion of the facility means that all 50 hectares of ponds are producing quality shrimps.
GM Nick Moore said the black tiger shrimps remain the most farmed in Australia. The company also achieved a world first – all ponds are stocked with domesticated shrimps.
