Egypt's GASC buys 180,000 tonnes of Russian and Kazakhstan wheat
Egypt's state-owned wheat buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), said on Wednesday (Jan 13) it bought 180,000 tonnes of Russian and Kazakhstan wheat on a free-on-board basis.
Of the total, GASC bought 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Venus at US$186.5/tonne, 60,000 tonnes of Kazakhstan wheat from Venus at US$186.5/tonne and another 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Bunge at US$186.5/tonne.
The wheat is for shipment on March 21-31.
