South Korea Kocopia Seeks Up To 55,000 Tons Corn In Tender
Seoul-based Korea Corn Processing Industry Association, or Kocopia, sought to buy up to 55,000 metric tons of non-genetically modified corn for human consumption in a tender held at 0700 GMT Wednesday, said a trader who received the tender notice.
Kocopia will buy one cargo of optional-origin food corn to arrive in South Korea April 30, the trader said.
Suppliers can choose to provide 52,500 tons of Chinese corn, or 55,000 tons of corn from other sources, the trader said.
