Taiwan TFMA Buys 82,190 MT US Wheat From Mitsui, UH-Trade
Taiwan Flour Millers Association bought a total of 82,190 metric tons of US No. 1 wheat from trading houses Mitsui and United Harvest in a tender concluded Tuesday, according to a Taipei-based trader.
TFMA bought two cargoes of milling wheat to be shipped Feb. 22-March 9 and March 9-24 from the Columbia River District, including Portland, the trader said.
Mitsui supplied the first cargo while United Harvest sold the second, the trader said.
All wheat prices agreed are on a free on board basis. TFMA has also fixed separate freight charges at $43.25/ton and $43.35/ton for the first and second cargoes respectively.
