UK Chicken Prices To See 20% Increase

Chicken prices in the United Kingdom is set to rise by 20% following last year's heatwave.

Poultry meat prices will increase because farmers' food bills have surged by £190 million.

High temperatures devastated the crops of wheat used to feed the birds. British Poultry Council Peter Bradnock added: ''The increase is unavoidable.''
