Pas Reform to develop Al Watania's poultry plant in Saudi Arabia

Pas Reform has been commissioned by Al Watania Poultry to equip its new turnkey hatchery development with Pas Reform's SmartPro™, a single stage incubation, climate control and hatchery automation system.
The Al Watania facility is based in Buraydah, Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia.
Pas Reform will develop the fully automated 100 Mio day old chick hatchery, with the cooperation of Portuguese steel construction company, Systeel.
The facility will incorporate Pas Reform's technologies including 54 SmartSetPro™-6 setters and 72 SmartHatchPro™ hatchers augmented with Advanced Adaptive Metabolic Feedback (AMF™); Energy Saving Module (ESM™) and SmartWatch™ for fully optimised chick uniformity; and Pas Reform's latest innovation, SmartCount™, which employs advanced vision technology to count, separate and box day old chicks.
A fully integrated climate control system will feature air handling, distribution and humidification capabilities in addition to heating and cooling capacity to deliver substantial energy savings in hatchery operations.
The hatchery is expected be fully operational within 12 months and will play a key role in boosting Al Watania's annual broiler production from 850,000 to 1.1 million broilers per day.
In the meantime, Al Watania's staff will be familiarised with the hatchery's operations through a management training programme initiated by Pas Reform Academy.
