Tunisia buys 50,000 tonnes soft wheat
Two cargoes of 25,000 tonnes each of optional-origin soft milling wheat has been bought by Tunisia's state grains agency, European traders said on Friday (Jan 6).
The first cargo was bought at US$279.58 per tonne, cost and freight included, from the Noble trading house, and the rest was purchased at US$276.80 per tonne, cost and freight included, from InVivo.
In its tender, Tunisia had specified that if Western European wheat was picked, it should be shipped between February 10-20, for the first cargo, and March 1-10 for the second.
