Taiwan's MFIG buys 60,000 tonnes of US corn 
 

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group, or MFIG, bought 60,000 tonnes of US corn from trading house Bunge in a tender concluded Friday, a Taipei trader said Monday.

MFIG bought 54,070 tonnes at US$134.25/tonne, while the rest was purchased at US$1.37 a bushel above the Chicago Board of Trade March contract.

The shipment period will be Jan 29-Feb 12 from the US Gulf or Feb 13-27 from the Pacific North-west.
