China Methionine Weekly: Price hike slows amid increased supply (week ended Jan 5, 2014)
Methionine supply increased in China but was insufficient to meet the buoyant pre-Chinese New Year demand as buyers stockpile inventories before February's long holidays. Hence, prices continued to surge in several regions, albeit at a slower pace.
