China vitamin C fall amid slack demand

The availability of vitamin C remained tight as production in Hebei was limited due to strict pollution controls. However, with demand tumbling amid negligible aqua feed output, vitamin prices softened from high levels.


Vitamin C market will be under pressure due to sluggish demand. Nevertheless, price falls are unlikely to be drastic with supplies tight.
