Wm. Goodyear receives ISO certification

Wm. Goodyear Co., manufacturer of picking fingers for the poultry industry, has received an ISO certification 9001:2008 from the International Organisation for Standardisation.

The designation acknowledges that the practices and processes used by the company are in compliance with international industry standards.

The certificate provides credibility in the market and serves as a business link among affiliated businesses.

Wm. Goodyear Co. manufactures picking fingers in its US Monroe, North Carolina, plant. The fingers are manufactured from natural rubber using ingredients approved by the FDA for food handling applications. Fingers are available in yellow, gray and black colours and are produced to the hardness required by each plant to assure maximum yield.
