USDA Says 110,000 Tons Of Corn Sold To Unknown Destinations In 2004-05
Private exporters reported to the US Department of Agriculture export sales of 110,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to unknown destination during the 2004-05 marketing year, according to the USDA on Tuesday.
The 2004-05 marketing year for corn began Sept. 1.
US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of any commodity made in the same day to the same destination by 3 p.m. EST (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales less than 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
