US soybean exports down in December 2005
 

According to the USDA, US soybean exports totalled 13.869 million bushels as of Dec 29, 2005, down 13.481 million bushels compared with the same period in 2004. This was lower than earlier estimates of between 20 million and 25 million bushels.

US soybean exports have reached 394.639 million bushels so far for 2005/06, well below 529.242 million bushels during the same period in 2004/05.

Meanwhile, US corn exports as of the same date totalled 31.951 million bushels, up 1.474 million bushels compared with the same period in 2004. This was higher than earlier estimates of between 25 million and 30 million bushels.

US corn exports have reached 607.502 million bushels so far for 2005/06, compared with 617.529 million bushels during the same period in 2004/05.
