Japan Urged To Lift Import Ban On South Korean Poultry

South Korea's Foreign Ministry has urged Japan to discontinue its temporary ban on the import of South Korean poultry products.

Japan banned South Korean poultry imports after an outbreak of a mild strain of bird influenza virus at a duck farm in the southwestern part of the country was reported last month.
