Chile to ship poultry to US
Chile anticipates to export around 8,000 tonnes of poultry meat to the US as the latter recently authorized imports of Chilean poultry products.
Chile's first shipment of 8,000 tonnes is valued at US$14 million. Exports of Chilean poultry meat reached US$150 million in 2006 and US$102 million until the third quarter of 2007.
