Russia announces fish import restrictions due to safety concerns
Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control imposed temporary restrictions on fish imports from some foreign companies at the start of this year.
The decision was based Russia's inspection results of foreign fish processing plants and the safety and quality of fish imports into the country.
Temporary restrictions will apply to 1 company in Argentins, 3 in Vietnam, 15 in China, 2 in Norway and 5 in the US.
