Vietnam's 2011 dairy product imports rise 19.7%
Vietnam's General Statistics Office said Wednesday (Dec 28) that the country has spent an estimate of US$848 million, a 19.7% on-year increase, on milk and dairy product importation in 2011.
The Southeast Asian country bought milk and dairy products worth US$70 million in December versus US$66 million in November.
In 2010, Vietnam's expenditures on importing dairy products soared 38.8% on year to US$716 million.
