Ukraine's milk output falls 15.6% to 800,000 tonnes

The milk production of Ukraine fell in November by 15.6% or 143,000 tonnes against October, to 772,000 tonnes, according to the State Statistics Service.

Private farms reduced milk production by 18.1% to 608,200 tonnes, and specialized farms by 4.8% to 163,800 tonnes.

In November 2011, milk production decreased by 0.6% or 4,700 tonnes compared to November 2010.

In January-November 2011, comparing with January-November 2010, milk production decreased by 1.8% or 189,500 tonnes to 10,397,300 tonnes.

In October, milk production fell by 9.7% or 98,700 tonnes compared with September, to 915,700 tonnes.

In 2010, milk production decreased by 3.1% or 355,500 tonnes to 11,254,100 tonnes on-year.
