The State Statistics Service has informed that as of December 1, 2011, Ukraine's November cattle population dropped by 2.5% or 122,800 heads, compared with October, to 4,830,100 heads.
Cattle population fell by 3.2% or 110,900 heads at private farms, and by 0.8% or 11,900 heads at specialised farms.
In November, cow population went down by 0.3% or 8,600 heads, and as of November 1, 2011, made up 2,619,300 heads.
The cattle population decreased by 2.5% or 125,700 heads, compared to November 1, 2010.
As of November 1, 2011, October's cattle population fell by 2.3% or 115,100 heads, compared to September, to 4,952,900 heads.
In October, cow population went down by 0.5% or 12,500 heads, and as of November 1, 2011, made up 2,627,900 heads.
