Agronomy events slated for Jan.-Feb. in UK

The UK's Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board has lined up a series of free-to-attend events for cereals and oilseeds growers that focuses on applied technical research and on-farm practice.

The events, which run throughout the UK in January and February, share the "Inspire, Innovate, Integrate" message. They were launched at the AHDB's 2016 Agronomists' Conference, and look at agronomic solutions for local challenges around fungicide performance, crop nutrition, pest management and cover crops, among others.

Seminar topics have been selected to give a regionally relevant discussion with farmers, agronomists and scientists. 

The series features four events in Scotland, in association with Scotland's Rural College (SRUC), six events in England and two events in Wales, in association with National Farmers Union Cymru and RSK ADAS Ltd (ADAS).
