5th edition of International Agro-technological Conference to be held in Russia

 

 

The Russian Grain Union together with Schyolkovo Agrochim, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Administration of Rostov Region, will hold the V International Agro-technological Conference on March 2, 2016 in Saratov, Russia.


According to the organisers, effective import substitution is based on the use of modern technologies for producing competitive products. The V International Agro-technological Conference «AgroHighTech – XXI  Volga's Vector» will highlight the effectiveness of government support measures for solving the problems brought about by technological modernisation and land reclamation; innovations in agribusiness; the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector in the region – its risks and opportunities; the best practice in the technological modernisation of farms and how to get maximum profit; and, market forecasts for grains and oilseeds.


The Conference will be attended by representatives of federal and regional authorities, heads of the leading agricultural holdings and organisations involved in processing and storage of grain, and, leading experts from Russia and other countries. It is expected that more than 300 representatives from 10 countries are expected to attend.


Guests who will be present at the conference include the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues Nikolay Pankov; First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Evgeny Gromyko; Governor of the Saratov Region Valeriy Radaev; Deputy Prime Minister of the Saratov Region Alexander Soloviev; President of the Russian Grain Union Arkadiy Zlochevskiy; Executive Director of the Fat-and-Oil Union Uriy Morozov; General Director of Schyolkovo Agrochim Salis Karakotov.
