EU to suspend Greece's meat exports
The EU could impose a ban on Greece's meat exports to the common European market and third countries, according to Greek Vima newspaper reports on Monday (Dec 22).
Greece's stockbreeding and meat production is already under supervision. EU experts found lapses in product control, laboratory issues and training of veterinary experts.
The experts also found flaws in the implementation of the EU legislation, as well as in the licenses and certificates of the laboratories.
