Ukrainian grain harvest reaches 58.18 million tonnes

Ukraine harvested 58.18 million tonnes of grain throughout its 15.3 million hectares, as of December 20 (Tue).

Average grain yield totals 38 c/ha as opposed to 28.5 c/ha in 2010.

To date, corn harvesting campaign is still going. In particular, harvested volume of corn totalled 22.6 million tonnes throughout 3.53 million ha (99% of the forecast). Its average corn yield totals 64 c/ha, meanwhile in 2010 - 45.9 c/ha.
