Greece's net income from agriculture shows decrease
The net income from agriculture in Greece has declined by 5.3% this year compared to 2010.
Since, 2005 farmers' total revenues in agriculture have dropped by 20.9%, which constitutes the third-biggest drop in the EU, according to Eurostat figures.
In the same period, the average revenue growth in the EU came to 6.7% on a yearly basis. This growth came from a combination of an increase in revenues by 3.9% and a 2.7% drop in agricultural sector labour costs.
