Russian grain export reaches 15 million tonnes during July-November period
Russia exported 15 million tonnes of grains, including 12.754 million tonnes of wheat and 1.65 million tonnes of barley in the period July-November of 2011, according to the analytical centre of CJSC RusAgroTrans.
The Southern ports shipped 13.61 million tonnes, including Novorossiysk and Tuapse - 6.29 million tonnes (42%), the small ports - 7.32 million tonnes (49%), Taman - 564 thousand tonnes (4%), the Baltic ports - 268 thousand tonnes (2%), the ports of Ukraine - 113 thousand tonnes (1%).
In November 2011, the exports totalled 2.56 million tonnes; the forecast in December is 2.45 million tonnes.
According to data of RusAgroTrans, in July-November of 2011/12, International Grain Company, Louis Dreyfus, Yug Rusi, Bunge and Aston formed the top five of the largest Russian grain exporters. In general, the share of these companies covers 43% of the complete grain exports from the country.
