US sells 205,232-tonne corn to Japan
For the next marketing year, private US exporters have already sold 205,232 tonnes corn to Japan, said the USDA on Friday (Dec 16).
The 2012/13 marketing year will open on September 1, 2012.
By law, exporters must report promptly the sale of 100,000 tonnes or more of a commodity to the same destination in one day. Sales of smaller amounts are reported on a weekly basis.
