Guangdong's poultry exports to Hong Kong down 31 percent

  
  

The suspension of Hong Kong's imports from Mainland China for 21 days due to bird flu has pulled down Guangdong's poultry exports by 31 percent.

 

Guangdong Port exported 8.339 million heads of live poultry to Hong Kong that were valued at US$21.685 million, down by 31 percent on-year.

 

Hong Kong discovered its first outbreak in nearly six years at a poultry farm on Dec 9 this year.
