Animal Health International enters livestock products pact with Pfizer
Texas-based Animal Health International Inc. (AHII) said on Tuesday (December 16) that its Walco International Inc. unit and Pfizer Inc. entered into a livestock products distribution agreement effective Jan. 1, 2009.
Under the agreement, the company is entitled to distribute certain Pfizer products to customers in the cattle and swine fields, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In return, the company is entitled to certain service fees. The company is required to maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet anticipated customer demand and to store products in accordance with their respective label instructions.
