Hubbard expands Chinese tech support team

Hubbard had announced the appointment of two new members to its Chinese technical service team, as part of efforts to support its growing customer base in the region.

Mingdong Zhou (right), a Masters graduate in veterinary medicine from Shandong Agricultural University, joins Hubbard as technical service manager.

Zhou brings with him six years of experiences in managing broiler breeders of both Grandparent and Parent Stock generations. He had served as a production manager, as well as veterinarian and bio-security manager at New Hope Liuhe Group.

Wei Liang (left), who also shares a similar educational background as Zhou from the same university, joins Hubbard as a management trainee.

Liang will undertake an extensive training period with Hubbard poultry specialists. He will be involved with the company's modern Great Grandparent and Grandparent facilities in the US and France whilst also spending time at customer locations across the wider Asian region.

Both Zhou and Liang will report to Frank Shenling Xu, Hubbard's country manager for China.

"We are delighted with these two recent appointments to our China team," said Xu. "Mr. Zhou's experience is a perfect fit for us to support the ongoing needs of our rapidly growing customer base in China. In addition, the appointment of Mr. Liang gives us added strength in depth and illustrates an ongoing commitment to our important customers in the region. Both are highly motivated and enthusiastic to join Hubbard in what is an exciting period of growth in the region."
